Prime Minister Youssef Chahed urged his government members, in an edict, to give a response to draft government regulatory decrees transferred to them for examination within a maximum of 15 days, to give more efficiency to government action.

According to this recently issued edict, some ministries exceed the deadlines for responding to draft laws transferred by the Prime Ministry. This delay has prevented the publication of several government decrees within a reasonable time.

These decrees cannot be published unless they were countersigned by the concerned minister, in compliance with Article 94 of the Constitution.
