(TAP) – The President of the Government Youssef Chahed familiarised Friday with the model of the Tunis Court of First Instance construction project.

This project whose cost is estimated at 43 million dinars, will be carried out in the April 9 Boulevard in Tunis. The building will be built on a 26-thousand-square-metre area with 11 floors, 16 courtrooms, 25 detention cells, 400 administrative offices and 280 offices for prosecutors and investigation judges.

The project which will be achieved over 3 years, is co-financed by the European Union (EU) and the Tunisian State as part of the support programme to justice reform funded by the EU, a Prime Ministry press release specifies.
