Annual report of Anti-corruption Authority handed over to Premier

(TAP) - The annual report of the National Anti-corruption Authority (French: INLUCC) was handed over Tuesday to The President of the Government Youssef Chahed by its President Chawki Tabib at Dar Dhiafa, Carthage, reads a Prime Ministry press release.

This first report "is of paramount importance insofar as it contains findings and recommendations as well as other data in connection to the fight against corruption," Tabib was cited as saying.

Technical standards used in the analysis of the social, historical, legislative and institutional dimensions of the fight against corruption are also outlined, along with cases referred to courts.

Tabib said he had extended an invitation to the Premier to attend the second National Conference of Good Governance and Fight against Corruption which will seek to assess the extent to which the national strategy was implemented one year after its signing, further reads the press release.
