Cabinet meeting approves bill on promotion of start-ups

(TAP) – A Cabinet meeting, chaired by Prime Minister Youssef Chahed on Wednesday, discussed a number of bills and government decrees and looked at the economic and social situation in the country.

The Cabinet meeting adopted a bill on the promotion of start-ups and a draft decree approving the final reports of the committee for the recognition and delimitation of lands in the state private domain of the governorate of Kef, (delegations of West Kef and Dahmani).

The Cabinet also heard the report of the Ministerial Economic Committee on the follow-up of the outcome of the Investment Conference Tunisia 2020, as part of the new government's approach consisting in including the review of work of the ministerial economic and social committees in the Cabinet meetings on a regular basis to speed up the implementation of government commitments and decisions.

It also looked at the strategic plan of the Ministry of Public Works, Housing and Spatial Development and its projects in the field of infrastructure, as well as draft individual decrees related to the public service and public establishments and institutions.
