Spain's Mariano Rajoy in Tunis

(TAP) - Spanish Prime Minister Mariano Rajoy arrived Monday morning in Tunis for a one-day working visit.

Upon his arrival at the Aouina presidential airport, Rajoy was seen in by Prime Minister Youssef Chahed and Foreign Minister Khemaies Jhinaoui.

Accompanied by a delegation of ministers and businessmen, the Spanish PM will meet during his visit with President Beji Caied Essebsi and House of People's Representatives (HPR) Speaker Mohamed Ennaceur.

Rajoy and Chahed will chair the 8th session of the Tunisian-Spanish High Commission during which a set of partnership agreements will be inked in several fields.

The Spanish PM will also pay a visit to the Bardo Museum where he will lay a wreath of flowers in tribute to the victims of the Bardo terrorist attack.

Besides, he will attend the closing of the Tunisian-Spanish Business Forum at the headquarters of the Tunisian Confederation of Industry, Trade and Handicrafts (UTICA).
