Tunisia submits candidature file to host YOG 2022

(TAP) - As part of following up Tunisia's candidacy file to host the fourth edition of the Youth Olympic Games (YOG-2022), Prime Minister Youssef Chahed met, on Monday in Dar Dhiafa, Carthage, with a delegation of the International Olympic Committee led by Antoine Goetschy.

The meeting was attended by Minister of Youth and Sport Majdoline Cherni and President of the National Olympic Committee Mehrez Boussayene.

The Minister of Youth and Sports said, in this connection, that Tunisia has submitted its candidacy file to host the YOG-2022.

The Youth Olympic Games is a multi-sport competition for young athletes aged 14 to 18 years old.

The first edition took place in 2010 in Singapore, the second in 2014 in China and the third will take place this summer in Argentina
