(TAP) - Prime Minister Youssef Chahed said Monday’s terrorist attack at Habib Bourguiba Avenue has failed, noting that the fight against terrorism continues.

"Most of the injuries are minor, except two cases that are no longer in critical condition,” the Prime Minister said as he visited the wounded in the military hospital in Tunis.

Chahed paid tribute to the security forces and the army, saying the government will do everything to eradicate the phenomenon of terrorism.

"The zero risk against terrorism exists nowhere in the world and the fight against this phenomenon is the business of all Tunisians and all forces must pull together to counter it," he pointed out.

Director of the military hospital Tarek Chabbi told TAP the hospital has received six wounded whose health condition is stable.

The Interior Ministry said Monday afternoon the woman who blew herself up died on the spot and is not known by the security services for her extremism.

The 30-year-old woman perpetrated the suicide attack near a patrol of security forces at Habib Bourguiba Avenue, without fatalities.
