Tunisia / South Korea: Agreement on creation of Joint Chamber of Commerce

(TAP)- Tunisia and South Korea have agreed to create a joint chamber of commerce that will provide a platform for exchange between the two countries, said a statement issued Wednesday by the Prime Ministry.

Following a meeting held on Wednesday between Prime Minister Youssef Chahed and South Korean Prime Minister Lee Nak-yon, who is on an official visit to Tunisia, the two sides decided to draw up a new model. a strategic trilateral cooperation aimed at enabling both countries to export successful models of joint projects to other markets.

According to the same source, the two sides emphasised the importance of holding the 5th session of the General Assembly of the African-Korean Cooperation Initiative on Food and Agriculture in Tunis. in 2020.

The South Korean Minister seized the opportunity to underline his country's will to strengthen bilateral cooperation, particularly in the field of good governance and to allow Tunisia to benefit from the services of the Fund for Cooperation and Economic Development, in addition to strengthening exchanges in the field of security and defense.

Two memorandums of understanding were signed at the end of the enlarged meeting between the Tunisian and Korean delegations.

The first concerns cooperation in the field of education while the second concerns cooperation between the Diplomatic Institute for Training and Education (IDFE) and the Korean Diplomatic Academy
