PM holds talks with King Salman of Saudi Arabia

(TAP) - The fraternal and co-operation relations between Tunisia and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and ways to expand them were discussed at a meeting Saturday between Prime Minister Youssef Chahed and King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.

The two officials stressed the need to develop economic cooperation relations between the two countries through the creation of a support fund for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to boost economic exchanges.

According to a statement issued by the Prime Ministry, both sides agreed to intensify visits between Tunisian and Saudi businessmen and to facilitate the exchange of goods in both directions.

During the meeting, emphasis was also placed on the need to step up security cooperation, particularly in the fight against terrorism and organised crime.
