(TAP) - The Higher Investment Council (CSI), on Thursday in Dar Dhiafa, Carthage, adopted nine investment projects, expected to create 6,000 jobs in the southern, central and northern regions, at a meeting chaired by Prime Minister Youssef Chahed.

The Prime Ministry specified, in a press release published on its official facebook page, that these projects are of national importance, representing investments of up to 613 million dinars (MD), in the fields of the automobile industry, aeronautics, dairy production and the manufacture of detergents.

These projects consist of the extension of a milk production unit in Sidi Bouzid (for an investment cost of 58.4 MD), as well as a manufacturing unit for automotive components in Menzel Hayet, in Monastir (60.7 MD),

It also involves the extension of an aeronautical components manufacturing unit in the El Mghira region, in Ben Arous (57.7 MD) and the setting up of a detergent production unit in Zriba, in Zaghouan (92 MD).

The CSI also called for the finalisation of procedures for the creation of four major projects, which are a national priority, namely an integrated tourism project in Jendouba, an industrial project in Médenine, an integrated agro-industrial project in Bizerte and a tourism and health project in Gabès.

The Council stressed the need to provide investors with new digital services to help them create their projects
