Prime Minister receives DCAF Middle East and Africa operations Director

February 12, 2011  - TAP - Prime Minister Mohamed Ghannouchi received on Saturday Arnold Luethold, Director of the Middle East and Africa operations at the Geneva centre for Diplomatic Control of Armed Forces (DCAF), who is currently visiting Tunisia.
At the end of the meeting, the latter announced to TAP News Agency that the talks had allowed to exchange views on the current situation in Tunisia and the major importance of success in transition.
"I have come at this time of historical change, to offer the support of my organization to Tunisia and its interim Government, notably in matters of good governance in the field of security", he said.
Mr Luethold also expressed satisfaction at the mutual will to strengthen cooperation between Tunisia and DCAF. The Geneva centre for DCAF is an International organization created in 2000 by the Swiss government.

It includes 53 member states and provides field consultative support and assistance programmes in matters of reform and good governance of the security sector.
