Finance Minister receives Canada's Ambassador in Tunis

February 18, 2011 - TAP - Finance Minister Jaloul Ayed conferred, on Thursday, with Canada's Ambassador in Tunis Ariel Delouya about the Tunisian-Canadian co-operation prospects, in light of the latest events in Tunisia.
Mr. Ayed pointed out that the Carthage Conference, to be held in Tunisia by next month's end, would be an opportunity to gather outstanding figures from Tunisia's friendly and partner countries who would contribute to the country's efforts to make of this transitional period a success.
He went on saying that the Conference would also help better introduce the investment potentials available in Tunisia and identify new partnership opportunities.
The Canadian ambassador voiced his country's will to support Tunisia's efforts, specifying that the country's potentialities of economic growth and basic infrastructure would undoubtedly help it take up the current juncture's challenges.
