Abdelaziz Bouteflika-Béji Caid Essebsi's talk

March 15, 2011 - The excellent Tunisian-Algerian relations, the state of affairs in the two countries and in the world, and issues of mutual interest were the focus of the talk, on Tuesday, between Algerian President Abdelaziz Bouteflika and Caretaker Prime Minister Béji Caid Essebsi.
In a statement after the meeting, the Prime Minister, who had been warmly welcomed by the Algerian President, stressed the strong fraternal relations between Tunisia and Algeria.
He emphasized the common militant history the two countries shared and their strong bilateral co-operation in different fields.
The two sides reiterated commitment to endeavour so that the Tunisian-Algerian relations be better in the future and that bilateral co-operation experience the sought-after qualitative leap, in such a way as to materialize joint faith in the two peoples' common destiny.
After the talk, Mr. Béji Caid Essebsi left Algiers for Morocco, in an official visit.
He was seen off at his departure from Algiers Houari Boumedien Airport by Prime Minister Ahmed Ouyahia.
