March 16, 2011 - TAP - Caretaker Prime Minister Béji Caïd Essebsi left Rabat, on Wednesday, after an official visit.
In a statement to the press at the Rabat-Salé Airport, the prime minister voiced satisfaction at the distinguished relations binding Tunisia and Morocco, saying: "I return to Tunisia being assured of the privileged relations between the two countries and carrying a message of friendship, affection and solidarity which the King, Government and people of Morocco have asked me to convey to Tunisia and its people".
Mr. Caïd Essebsi underlined, in statements reported by MAP news agency, that he had been honoured to meet, at Rabat Royal Palace, with King Mohammed VI, whom he had informed of developments taking place in Tunisia after the January 14 Revolution.
He also said he had told the Moroccan sovereign that "the situation is back to normal, even if the pace might seem to be slow in some people's eyes".
