Ban Ki-Moon arrives in Tunis

March. 22, 2011 – TAP - UN Secretary General Ban Ki-Moon arrived in Tunis on Monday evening, coming from Cairo.
He was greeted at Tunis-Carthage airport by Foreign Minister Mouldi Kéfi.
This visit, which was scheduled for last Saturday, had been postponed because of Ban Ki-Moon's attendance the same day in Paris of the European Union-African Union-Arab League Summit on Libya.
The UN Secretary General is expected to meet the caretaker President, the Interim Prime Minister and the Foreign Minister.
He will also attend a round table meeting held by youths and meet, at a debate session, with the members of the higher authority for the achievement of the revolution objectives, political reform and transition to democracy.
Ban Ki-moon will address as well civil society activists, NGOs, academics and students and hold a news conference at the end of his visit.
