Italian Prime Minister arrives in Tunis

April 4, 2011 - Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi Monday arrived in Tunis.
The Italian Prime Minister is expected to discuss with the Interim Government members the issue of illegal immigration.
This visit follows the one paid last march 25 by Italian Foreign Minister Franco Frattini and Interior Minister Roberto Maroni who had discussed with Government members the management of the migration flow as part of a comprehensive and integrated approach.
The Italian premier was greeted at Tunis-Carthage airport by Interim PM Béji Caid Essebsi and Foreign Minister Mouldi Kéfi.
