Prime Minister receives Palestinian and Algerian Ambassadors

April 7, 2011 – TAP  - Caretaker Prime Minister Béji Caïd Essebsi received, on Thursday, Palestine's Ambassador in Tunis Salman Al-Harfi.
The diplomat briefed the Prime Minister about the latest developments in the Palestinian situation.
The meeting was an opportunity to reassure the Palestinian Ambassador about Tunisia's stand regarding the Palestinian cause.
The Prime Minister also had a talk with Algeria's Ambassador in Tunis Mohamed Ben Hocine, during which Tunisian-Algerian relations were reviewed and progress recorded by the co-operation and partnership agreement which had been concluded between Tunisia and Algeria during Mr. Caïd Essebsi's last March visit to Algeria.
Preparations for the Tunisian-Algerian High Joint Commission's meeting were also discussed.
