May 10, 2011 – TAP - The measures taken and the various procedures to follow to recover the assets transferred abroad by the ousted president and his relatives were the focus of a meeting held Tuesday between Interim Prime Minister Béji Caid Essebsi and Tunisia's Association for Financial Accountability (ATTF) Chairman Sami Remadi.
The talk also turned on the conference to be held next June by ATTF on the measures to freeze those assets, with attendance of an official Swiss delegation.
The aim of the association is to recover these ''robbed'' assets, notably through awareness-raising campaigns targeting the public opinion and the Swiss NGOs which put pressure on their government to meet Tunisia's requests.
