Interim Prime Minister receives Ericsson-Tunisia CEO

June 20, 2011 - TAP - Chief Executive Officer of Ericsson-Tunisia Samir Douik reasserted the Swedish giant's will "to stay in the country", solidify its presence in it and further invest in high technology and in skills and know-how transfer.
Mr. Douik told Tunis-Afrique Presse (TAP) news agency at the end of his meeting, on Monday in Tunis, with Caretaker Prime Minister Béji Caïd Essebsi that Ericsson company "is striving, together with local players and Tunisian public and private companies, for a high-quality technological transfer".
The Swedish group of mobile telecommunication networks is planning, on the short and long ranges, "to make more targeted, more advanced and more concrete investments", Ericsson CEO also announced.
