Moroccan Prime Minister arrives in Tunis for a two-day visit

May 24, 2012 - TAP - Morocco's Prime Minister Abdelilah Benkirane arrived on Thursday in Tunis, for a two-day working visit.

He was seen in, upon his arrival to Tunis-Carthage International Airport, by Prime Minister Hamadi Jebali and Finance Minister Houcine Dimassi.

In a statement to the media, Mr. Benkirane pointed out that his visit was part of strengthening the fraternity and economic co-operation relations between the two countries.

Regarding the Arab Maghreb Union, the Moroccan premier said that its materialization is "an inevitable destiny," asserting that the Union's next summit in Tunis will be an "exceptional" one.

The Moroccan PM is notably escorted by the Development Minister in charge of Budget and the Education Minister.
