The Chief of Government Received Dr. Hammouda Ben Slama

10th of April 2013 - The chief of government Mr. Ali Larayedh received on Wednesday at the Government Palace in El Kasbah Dr. Hammouda Ben Slama, general coordinator for the investigation commission on the December 4, 2012 incidents in Mohamed Ali square in Tunis.
Dr. Hammouda Ben Slama, accompanied by several members of the commission,  handed the report elaborated by the commission’s members on the December 4, 2012 events.
On this occasion, the chief of government Mr. AliLarayedh expressed his thanks to the general coordinator and the commission’s members for their effort in carrying out tasks they had been entrusted with. He highlighted the keenness on taking advantage of the conclusions of the report and the will to listen to all the concerned parties. He also called on avoiding political and media pressure in dealing with this file.
The meeting, at the request of Dr. Hammouda Ben Slama, was held in implementation of the provisions of the paragraph 4 of the agreement concluded between the government and the trade union providing for the creation of the commission of investigation on the incidents of December 4,2012 following the failure of efforts to reach a joint consensual report, representing all the members of the commission.
Note that some of the commission’s members had preferred to represent their own report a few days ago at a press conference organized for the purpose.
