The Chief of Government Conferred with Former Italian Prime Minister and United Nations

15th of April 2013 - The Chief of Government Mr. Ali Larayedh conferred today morning at the Government Palace in El Kasbah with Mr. Romano Prodi, Italy’s Former Prime Minister and United Nations Special Envoy for the Sahel.
Mr. Prodi informed Mr. Larayedh that Italy looks for more robust and richer relations at all levels with the New Tunisia. He also highlighted the ancient ties of cooperation between the two friendly countries which were based on a number of historical, geographical and civic factors.
The Former Italian Official emphasized on the fact that Tunisia after the revolution is on its way to make progress and build democracy at a steady and vigorous pace to represent" a role model for countries undergoing revolutions".
Mr. Prodi considered that Tunisia is currently suitable to achieve economic prosperity, give a boost to development and stimulate investment projects for the benefit of the Tunisia people.
