UNDP Resident Representative in Tunisia

25th of April 2013 - The Chief of Government Mr. Ali Larayedh conferred today morning at the Government Palace in El Kasbah with United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Resident Representative in Tunisia Mr. Mohamed Belhocin. The meeting was an occasion to discuss the prospects of cooperation between Tunisia and the UN organization in multiple areas as democratic governance, institutional reforms and support to the National Constituent Assembly and the next election process in the country.
The UN official also declared that he had informed the chief of government that the United Nations Development is keen on standing by Tunisia in order to achieve economic prosperity and social stability. In addition to the working out of regional and national policies aimed to create jobs for applicants, as well as developing the statistics system in Tunisia, particularly the assessment of the rate of poverty.
 United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Resident Representative in Tunisia expressed his satisfaction with the chief of government's response to the initiatives and programs of the organization of development in Tunisia and all over the world. Mr. Mohamed Belhocin showed his pride of being awarded a medal as a symbol of the Tunisian revolution.
