Essid and Jendoubi discuss draft law on constitutional authorities

15 February 2016 - TAP - Prime Minister Habib Essid received, on Monday in the Kasbah Palace, Kamel Jendoubi, Minister in Charge of Relations with the Constitutional Authorities, the Civil Society and Human Rights.

According to a statement of the Prime Ministry, the meeting discussed the draft framework law on the Constitutional Authorities and the reports Tunisia must submit, soon, to international organizations, particularly those pertaining to enforced disappearance to be presented next March.

Quoted in the statement, Jendoubi said the national consultation on the draft framework law on constitutional authorities will continue until the adoption of the bill by the cabinet meeting.

The Prime Minister approved several recommendations of the report, particularly the submission to parliament of the draft law on enforced disappearance, said Jendoubi.
