Cabinet meeting approves several financial bills

24 February 2016 - TAP - A Cabinet meeting held, Wednesday, under chairmanship of Prime Minister Habib Essid, approved several financial bills, particularly the draft law related to banks and financial and Islamic finance institutions, said government spokesman official spokesman Khaled Chaouket.

The meeting also approved a loan agreement signed January 26, 2016, by the Tunisian government and the Arab Fund for Economic and Social Development (AFESD).

The 330-million-dinar loan will be used in the construction of two dams “Essaida” and “Kalaa El Kobra” and related water pipe works.

The Cabinet also approved the draft law on the social guarantee agreement signed by Tunisia and Morocco.

Chaouket said the Cabinet also adopted the government decree on the  identification of the organizational structure of the National Institute for Field Crops in Boussalem (Jendouba), the government decree on the appointment of members of the confiscation commission and the government decree providing for the expropriation of public lands for the construction of the Sfax-Gabes highway.
