Essid meets ruling coalition members

16 March 2016 - TAP - Prime Minister Habib Essid met, on Wednesday, members of the ruling coalition co-ordination.

The meeting discussed the general situation in the country, particularly the security conditions and counter-terrorism efforts.

The social and economic situation and ways to speed up the adoption of relevant laws and undertake necessary structural reforms were also on the agenda of the meeting.

The meeting was also an opportunity to focus on ways to boost investment, development and employment as well as on the completion of the installation of constitutional institutions.

Habib Essid discussed with members of the coalition consultation and co-ordination between the government and ruling parties “to consolidate the attributes of efficiency and create a climate allowing to meet challenges and achieve the desired goals,” said a Prime Ministry statement.

The Prime Minister announced, in this vein, the creation of a unit to enhance co-ordination with ruling parties.

He informed members of the co-ordination of the establishment soon of a national anti-terrorism committee.

On another hand, the meeting focused on the national dialogue on employment that will take place on March 28 and 29 and the start of workshops in the presence of political parties, national organizations, administrative officers, experts and the civil society.
