Requirements of stage require further interaction between government and Nidaa Tounes MPs

05 May 2016 - TAP - Prime Minister Habib Essid said, on Thursday, that the requirements of the present stage and its delicate nature require further communication and interaction between the government and the deputies of Nidaa Tounes.

It was during his meeting in Dar Dhiafa in Carthage with the members of the party’s parliamentary group.  Cited in a statement of the Prime Ministry, Habib Essid added that the government draws its orientation and its programs essentially from Nidaa Tunis program and those of the ruling coalition parties.

This is what is reflected in the document of the 2016-2020 development plan orientation, in the content of the plan and through the great reforms undertaken in various fields and sectors, he underlined.

The deputies of Nidaa Tounes presented to the Prime Minister a series of proposals aimed to grant to the governmental action further efficiency and better meet the expectations of the citizens, according to the same statement.

The meeting was also an occasion, to examine means and mechanisms likely to deepen dialogue and consultation between the government and Nidaa Tounes group and draw from the party’s suggestions on priority national files.

The national, political, social and economic events and means to hasten the materialization of the reforms and the achievement of the expected objectives were also tackled.

In this connection, the Prime Minister highlighted the role of the deputies’ mobilization, Nidaa Tounes MPs in particular to boost the development pace and meet the challenges.

Nidaa Tounes group had called in a statement published last April 24 after the parliamentary day, for a working session with the Prime Minister.
