PM receives Minister of Civil Service, Governance and Fight Against Corruption

June 11, 2019 - TAP - Minister of Civil Service, Governance and Fight Against Corruption Kamel Ayadi presented, on Saturday, to Prime Minister Habib Essid the draft law related to the protection of whistleblowers.

"This draft law will be examined at a cabinet meeting before submitting it to the House of the People\\'s Representatives (HPR)," said Ayadi after his talk with the Prime Minister.

He also said he had presented to the Prime Minister the program of the campaign of controlling civil servants attendance, underlining that the balance of this program will be published by the end of the two-month campaign which started last May 9.

According to Kamel Ayadi, this program is part of a reform approach which aimed to promote the performance of the civil servants.

The Ministry of Civil Service, Governance and Fight Against Corruption started, last Wednesday, unannounced inspections to control attendance in the different public administrations.

According to the department, nearly 20 sworn in controllers were mobilized to this effect. The control operation is made at the first and last hour of work as well as at mid-day.

The first visits were made in the Ministry of Civil Service, Governance and Fight Against Corruption as well as the departments of the Prime Ministry.
